What makes Lakeland Films different?

Lakeland Films produce wedding videos and special occasion films for events mainly in Cumbria, the Lake District and North Lancashire. We can also cover most other parts of the UK.

As professional videographers it is our job to capture your special day on film and to edit the footage and present it to you as a finished film To do this we use up to three (two minimum) broadcast quality cameras to film the wedding service and speeches. We can capture wide angle and close-up shots all at once and edit between them, which gives you a personal and more profession finish to your video.

The editing process

A lot of time is spent at the editing stage, making sure everything is just right - and really 'worth watching' time after time. There will be an opening sequence, followed by the progression of the day's events, the guests' reactions - piece to camera interviews (if required) and a 'highlight' session at the end. On the DVD there will be a menu so you can move between the day's events quickly. Music can be added, either of your choosing or a mix of yours and ours.

Productions & Services

Lakeland Films has undertaken many filming and film editing projects commissioned by companies, organisations, clubs and individuals.

We have produced training films, information videos, promotional DVDs, short documentaries, conferences, special interest videos and special events. We have also filmed shows, plays and dramas.

We have also undertaken expedition filming in remote areas as well as climbing, skiing and adventure filming.
